Join HOKA and star University of Arkansas Cross Country Runners for an exciting pre-race shakeout event on Friday, October 3! Preview the fast Chile Pepper Festival 5k course, easily set up your team camp and visit our festival area. Our world-famous merchandise area will be open!
Schedule – Friday, October 3
- 11:00 AM – Course open for Pre-Meet practice
- 2:00 PM – Festival Grounds open (Packet Pick Up, Sponsors and Merchandise Tents Open)
- 4:30 PM – HOKA Pre-Race Shakeout with University of Arkansas Runners (Meet at the HOKA Tent for a short approximately 2k jog of the course)
- 5:45 PM – Course closes for evening races
Course Access & Parking – Friday, October 3
Join us at Agri Park on Friday for a course preview day! Parking lots open and course access begins at 11:00am on Friday.
High school teams will enter on W Knapp Dr from Garland Ave at Agri Park. High school team buses may enter the property on Friday only and drop-off athletes near the festival area. Bus parking is available at the Pauline Whittaker Animal Science Center. The on-grounds parking lot is grass and cannot support large buses.
College teams will access grounds through normal parking off of N Quality Drive. College vans, SUV’s and small buses may park in the grass parking lot on N Quality Lane. Large buses enter N. Quality Lane and may drop passengers off at the Washington Regional Business Office. They must exit the parking lot after drop-off and either park in the bus parking on the west side of Garland Ave at the Pauline Whittaker Animal Science Center or park off-site. Please only stage buses in this area for drop-off and pick-up only.
